Warranty

Independence Technology warrants certain component parts of the iBOT® Mobility System to be free from materials and workmanship defects for the time periods as follows:

• Base Frame - 5 Years
• Power Base, frame, and user control panel - 2 Years
• (Except items such as tires, tubes and upholstery)
• Footrest, lenses, bulbs, calf panel, laterals, and contoured headrest - 6 Months
• Battery and battery charger - 6 Months
• Parts that are replaced under warranty are covered for an additional ninety (90) days or until the end of the original warranty, whichever is longer.

This warranty will be null and void if the iBOT® Mobility System or any component part thereof is (a) modified or adapted without the prior written approval of Independence Technology, (b) repaired or serviced by someone other than Independence Technology or its authorized representative, or (c) subjected to misuse, negligence, or accident. This warranty will not apply to failures due to normal wear and tear or failure to comply with proper use as outlined in the User Manual. Warranty is subject to change, contact us for more details.
