I work in a high school as a guidance counselor helping students pick their classes, decide what colleges to attend and deal with their daily struggles as 21st century teenagers. While I’m helping these great young adults with their future plans, I’m getting help myself from the amazing iBOT® Mobility System. In the past, I had to ask my colleagues for help reaching high filing cabinet drawers to access student records. Now, that’s a thing of the past. Our guidance office has many separate rooms that I can easily navigate between now with my iBOT® Mobility System. Generally, the iBOT® Mobility System lets me have a more productive workday as I’m not as tired as I would be using a manual chair.

My colleagues often ask me: “What’s the best thing about using that device?” That’s a hard question for me to answer, but one great reward is to see the expressions on the kids’ faces as I make my way down the school hallway in Balance Function weaving the chair in and out of the crowds. Everyone, including me, is just awestruck.
